  • Form a school club "Internal Affairs" that addresses issues in the school that students recognize need to be done

Writing

ACTIONS YOU CAN TAKE FROM HOME

If you would rather stay out of the spotlight, here are some actions you can take

Build

  • Create a Little Free Library at your house on the curb and make books available for others to borrow or trade
  • Help others create Little Free Libraries in their yards

Call

  • Call your congressperson, representatives, and senators if there is legislation that would be helped by your input
  • E-mail your representatives and draw attention to the many good things that your schools do and why they need support
  • E-mail your teachers, administrators, and the School Board to let them know your thoughts

Support Others

  • Join cultural experiences and groups at school
  • Encourage others to share their experiences with reading, the arts, culture, food, etc.
